Blackbird Energy has installed the production tubing string at DEI Bigstone Hz 13-33-60-22w5 well, part of the Bigstone Montney Prospect in Alberta, Canada, marking the final phase of the well completion operations.

The 13-33 well was drilled to a total measured depth of 5,336m with a lateral length of about 2,600m and completed with a 23 stage frac.

The well was flowed back after the installation of the tubing string and the average flow rate during the final 24 hours of flow back was 2.87 Mmcf/day and 510 bbls/day of condensate and load fluid.

Blackbird Energy said that 75% of the load fluid been recovered; it has also fully funded its share of the pipeline costs.

Installation of pipeline and construction of the surface facilities are expected to commence in mid October with an estimated on-stream date of early November 2012.

The company holds 12.5% working interest in the well, which is now ready for tie-in to the Donnybrook operated Bigstone pipeline system.

The working interest is subject to a 2% gross overriding royalty.

Blackbird's Bigstone Project is comprised of lands and licenses covering 5,120 acres in Township 60 ranges 22 and 23W5 at Bigstone.

The company can participate to a 25% interest in any future operations in a area of mutual interest, under the terms of a farm in agreement with Donnybrook Energy.
